Field Security is a crucial aspect of Platform, enabling fine-grained control over how data fields are accessed and interacted with by different users. Through role-based settings applied to each field, administrators can precisely define who can see and modify the data stored in an application. This ensures that sensitive information remains protected while still allowing necessary data visibility and interaction based on user roles.

Adding access for a role can be achieved by pressing the "Plus" icon at the top of the Access list.
Removing access from a role can be achieved by placing a check mark in the box next to the role to remove and pressing the trash can icon at the bottom of the list.
Modifying access can be achieved by opening the existing security record and changing it's Field Access value.
